Τι εχει παιχτει; Μηπως φταιει οτι ειχα μπει στον RD σερβερ με το παλιο ονομα πιο πριν, και το εχει κρατησει;

Marcel Offermans:

Plugins in general can slow down the physics thread as they are executed on the same thread (in-line).

  • TrackIR_rF2_Plugin - is used for the TrackIR device and does head-tracking, it can safely be disabled if you don't use such a device.
  • KnockoutQualifying - is a "rules" plugin that simulates multiple "knockout" style qualifying sessions and can safely be disabled unless you specifically want to use this format.
  • StockCarRules - is a "rules" plugin that contains specific rules for stock car racing and can safely be disabled unless you're doing Stock Car races.
  • SteamPlugin - interacts with Steam, keeps track of achievements, statistics, friends, dedicated server features and a few more things. I would not recommend disabling it in general and it will certainly prevent you from joining our competitions if you do, but strictly spoken, you can disable it and rFactor 2 will still run.

So, to summarize, please leave the SteamPlugin running and the others you can disable it.

rFactor 2 – Driver Swap Guide

Requirements:

  • Drivers must have the ‘passenger select’ key mapped
  • Drivers must be able to navigate in the pit menu
  • Drivers must have the same setup with the following exceptions, which are taken over from the car itself:

Brake Bias
Tire compound
Tire pressures
Rear wing
Traction Control setting

  • Said setup needs to be assigned (so it has become default setup and automatically loads correctly in when you join the session)

How to get into spectator mode:

  • Join the server
  • Select the car
  • Click ‘Back’
  • Go to network settings and switch ‘spectator’ to ‘on’
  • Now click race and you should be joined as spectator

Don’t forget to turn it ‘off’ again after the race!

The actual swap:

  • You should start with the following procedure 10 min before the pitstop (5min for VEC / VLMS see rules)
  • The driver swapping in, connects to the server – in case he was already on the server he must reconnect. Don’t forget as the driver swapping in, you must be in spectator mode
  • As soon as he connected, he selects the car (with the correct driver) and presses the ‘Passenger select’ key
  • Both should see now: ‘XYZ is now riding with you’
  • Then the pilot must select the name under ‘driver’ in the pit stop menu
  • Now the driver swapping in can press ‘Race’ (big button on the right) – most people do that when the car is entering the pits
  • Now the driver swapping in should change the camera into your desired one, if that’s necessary
  • When the car stopped in the pit spot and the pitstops starts, the pilot should see ‘losing control in XY sec’, the driver swapping in should see ‘gaining control in XY sec’
  • 3 sec before ‘gaining control’ the driver swapping in can press the accelerator and should prepare to shift up
  • As soon as you gained control, shift up once, as you get the car in neutral gear

If you forgotten to save the setup and left the game.

You can find the last used setup in the folder:

 ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\player
It is called 'tempGarage.svm'

This file stores the last configuration before you exit the Game.

Copy it and put it into the folder:
..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\player\Settings\ the track for that it was made

Rename it if you want, to better identify it.

Spoiler

See you on track..
