  • There are no plans to add PlayStation VR support to DiRT Rally 2.0.
  • Issues where audio cuts out mid-Stage are currently being worked on and should be resolved in a future update.
  • Issues where Tuning Setups revert to default when taking part in Club Events are are currently being worked on and are expected to be resolved in the next update (1.8).

DiRT Rally 2.0 Estering Rallycross Track Released

 

 

 

Finland and Greece Headline DiRT 2.0 Season 3 & 4 DLC

Season Three will begin from August 27th and is set to contain the returning and refreshed rally events in Greece and Finland, plus the debut of the Yas Marina WRX venue alongside the usual mix of new cars and liveries - details of which can be seen below.

  • Week 1: SUBARU Impreza (2001), Ford Focus RS Rally 2001
  • Week 3: Argolis Greece, Special Livery Pack
  • Week 5: Peugeot 306 Maxi, Seat Ibiza Kit Car
  • Week 7: Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, Special Livery Pack
  • Week 9: Peugeot 206 Rally, Volkswagen Golf Kitcar
  • Week 11: Jämsä Finland, Special Livery Pack

Once all that new content has dropped, Season Four will begin on November 19th and looks set to heavily focus on the World Rallycross portion of the title, we a new venue based in South Africa joining up with the returning and popular Lydden Hill circuit.

The Ford Focus RS 2001 dominated the international rally scene in 2001, after two difficult seasons previously. The inline-four engine produced 300hp, this being coupled with the Focus’ highly advanced chassis and suspension tech.

  • The issues of audio cutting out mid-Stage are expected to be resolved in a future update.
  • The ability to spectate in Multiplayer Lobbies is in development and could potentially appear in Version 1.9.
  • The ability to use a “Dashboard” camera angle (similar to the one seen in DiRT Rally) is expected to be added in a future update, most likely Version 1.9.

Content:

  • New livery: Royal Air Force – Ford Fiesta R5

UI/UX:

  • Re-enabled World Series tab on the main menu to accommodate for DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series Qualifiers.
  • Players who take part in World Series Qualifiers will earn a new car (Ford Fiesta R5 MKII), which is set to be released in version 1.16.
  • Players who take part in Qualifiers using v1.15 will get the car when it releases.

Rallycross:

  • Updated sponsor board branding on all FIA World Rallycross championship tracks to reflect real-world updates.
  • Adjusted performance of AI drivers in wet conditions (decreased pace by 1%).

Cars:

  • SUBARU Legacy RS – Added ability to upgrade brake durability in My Team, in line with other cars across the game.
  • SUBARU WRX STI (Rallycross) – Updated a livery number which was previously difficult to see.
  • Peugeot 208 WRX (2019) – Adjusted position of gear indicator which was previously obscured by the steering wheel.

To unlock the car for use in My Team, take part in a DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series Qualifier and you'll get it when the Event Week ends.

Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 - Updated engine audio based on new recordings of real-world car.
Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 - Updated rear-view mirrors to show reflected images.
Ford Escort MK2 - Updated rear-view mirrors to show reflected images.
Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec - Updated rear-view mirrors to show reflected images.
 

FIA World Rallycross Championship:

Removed AI driver names which were mistakenly appearing when using 2019-spec cars.
 

Colin McRae Scenarios:

Resolved issue where Used tyres were displaying as New in Service Areas.
 

Miscellaneous:

Added ability to select Paraguay as a driver nationality.
Made various minor (not notable) bugfixes across the game.
 

This is currently the final update planned for DiRT Rally 2.0.

The Ford Fiesta R5 MKII will be unlocked for all players to purchase in My Team Garage menu in early 2021, however this does not require a game update.
