Optimisation of the tyre model in rFactor2 environment for AVEHIL professional simulator Nowadays nothing is left to chance in Motorsport for what concerns both the mechanical and the human aspects: the development a good strategy, based on highly accurate forecast models, determines the success in a race. For a driver, as well as the athletes of every discipline, the training plays a crucial role in the approach to the race, but the track tests are limited for both economic reasons and regulation restrictions. Cristiano Giardina, thanks to his almost thirty-year experience in Motorsport as Team Manager, came to meet these two demands and founded Skydrive in 2015. Skydrive is an innovative start up that realizes professional simulators of the latest generation called AVEHIL (Advance Vehicle Engineering Human In the Loop) and the field office located in the Monza Eni Circuit has become a technological hub in Northern Italy for drivers and racing teams in few months. In particular, the Formula simulator uses the commercial videogame “rFactor2” as virtual platform. Being “rFactor2” developed for users with no experience with a racing car, the mathematical model of the tyre is simplified and several aspects are neglected. The aim of this master thesis is an in depth analysis of the physical model of the tyre and the algorithms of rFactor2 that affect the gameplay: the mechanical and thermal behaviour are deeply revised in such way that the force and temperature outputs generated by the virtual tyres are comparable with the ones obtained with the equivalent real tyres. Σήμερα δοκίμασα AMS2 DTM '92... Αν δεν το έχετε δοκιμάσει να το κάνετε, δεν ξέρετε τι χάνετε (εγώ το δοκίμασα στην Oulton που ταιριάζει πάρα πολύ στα DTM).

Εχει ξεφύγει το πράμα...που να το φανταζόμασταν από τα ηλεκτρονικά και τα pixels οτι θα φτάναμε σε τέτοιο επίπεδο.... Σε λίγο θα μπορείς να κάνεις δικές σου ταινίες με virtual ηθοποιούς...

Καλώς ήρθες φίλε συνοδηγέ, δεν μπορώ να σε βοηθήσω διότι δεν οδηγώ αγωνιστικά F1 και γενικά το θέμα setup για μένα είναι άγνωστο. Ίσως μερικοί άλλοι που γνωρίζουν μπορούν να σε βοηθήσουν. Kοίτα όμως και στα downloads, υπάρχει ένας οδηγός για setup...
